Hospice Care is a type of care provided to those who are in their last stages of a serious illness. The purpose is to focus on comfort, symptom relief and emotional-spiritual support. Palliative Care is the type of care that focuses on making a sick person feel comfortable and is not designed to cure an illness. Activities includes: Companionship for the sick individual Daily Activities like Dressing or bathing Providing social interaction Medication Reminders Emotional Support Assistance with home chores RN Delegation available upon certain tasks
