Hospice Care is a type of care provided to those who are in the last stages of a serious illness. The purpose is to focus on comfort, symptom relief, and emotional-spiritual support. Palliative Care is the type of care that focuses on making a sick person feel comfortable and is not designed to cure an illness. Activities include:

• Companionship for the sick individual

• Daily Activities like Dressing or bathing

• Providing social interaction

• Medication Reminders

• Emotional Support

• Assistance with home chores

• RN Delegation available upon certain tasks

This is Individualized care that caregivers can assist clients with activities of daily living. Activities for this type of care includes:

• Bathing

• Dressing

• Hair Care

• Oral Care

• Changing Adult Briefs

• Restroom Assistance

• General Hygiene

• Can be Combined with Companion/Homemaking Care

Our Respite care is available to provide temporary breaks for caregivers and patients and can last anywhere from a few hours a day to overnight. Some of the common tasks caregivers can assist which include

Assistance with personal care activities such as:

• Bathing and dressing

• Preparing meals

• Assistance with running errands

• Companionship to maintain their social engagement

• Accompanying clients to the grocery store or doctor's appointments

Homemaking Care can become difficult as far as keeping up with daily household activities and chores, Our Caregivers are able to assist with the following activities:

• Meal planning and prep

• Washing dishes

• LightDuty Housekeeping (Vacuuming, dusting)

• Laundry and linens

• Running Errands

• Grocery shopping

• Pet care

• Plant care
